What is Box Photography?Box Photography is just as it sounds! Photos taken inside a giant box! My husband has designed and created a giant wooden box that is 117cmx117cm that I take fun photos inside of and then edit them all together to make a wonderful collage of photos for you.
-
Who is Box photography for?Anyone! We recommend little ones be able to sit up as due tot the nature of the photos they can't lay down! However, if you or a sibling are planning on getting in the box with them that works perfectly as you can hold them up! For standing poses individuals need to be less than 116cm but all poses whether kneeling, leaning, sitting, lying etc look fabulous! Adults look great kneeling or sitting with their kids in family shoots and there is enough space to shoot a family with 4 kiddies and 2 parents (albeit close together!) inside the box.

Where are you based? We are based in the lovely village of Elstead in Surrey. All shoots take place in our warm and welcoming family home inside a custom built box. We are working on a garden studio plan for 2027-2028.

What shall we bring or wear?I will advise as much as possible on this when we book your shoot in. In a nutshell - think bright and bold against a white box. What is their favourite dress? Their favourite colour? Sport? Team? etc... For Christmas choose a special festive outfit. I have props and various backdrops that I will interchange throughout your session but feel free to bring along anything you think might work or you would like to include.

My child has special needs - can you cater a session to them?Absolutely! I am a previous deputy head teacher of a London primary school in my past life and have a vast amount of experience with children with all sorts of learning and additional needs. If you or your child have additional needs we can create a session that works. I will work with you and you can guide me with the best way to achieve the best photos we can get. These sessions will likely be a little longer to allow for breaks and setup - this is at no extra cost to you and we will discuss when we organise a booking.
-
How do I book? Please use the booking form to enquire about availability. I will then get back to you with dates that work and once we have a date and time I will send you an invoice via email. In order to ensure that your booking is confirmed you must pay your invoice by the due date - only once this is paid in full is your shoot confirmed. If the due date passes - please note your slot will likely be offered to someone else.
-
When and how do I get my photos?Once your shoot is complete - I will work on editing your photos within 5-7 working days. You will then be sent a link to an album online that allows you to access your images and download them in high resolution ready to print.
-
Can I cancel my shoot? If a cancellation is made more than four weeks in advance we can offer you a full refund. However, after this time it is harder to fill a slot and therefore only 50% will be refunded up until 72 hours prior to the shoot. After this our policy is that we cannot offer a refund but will work with you to try and find another date that will work for you. If you do not show on the day of your shoot with no prior warning - please note that no money will be paid back and no alternative date will be arranged.
-
My child is ill - what do I do?I have children and I totally understand how hard this can be. If you think your child is unwell please let me know as soon as possible and I will always do my best to rearrange your shoot for when they are better.
